His servant, called to do His will

DON'T JUST SEEK, BUT STRIVE

Luke 13:24

“STRIVE to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will SEEK to enter and will not be able”

Here the scripture is very clear that each and every Christian ought to STRIVE and not just to SEEK. There is only one way to enter eternity that is through our Lord Jesus Christ alone. Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life’ John 14:06, so the way of our Lord should be our way to enter eternity.

Through Sufferings : -

Our Lord only went through the way of sufferings. Though He was God, He obeyed His Father’s will to suffer. So we claim ourselves as Christians ought to suffer for Jesus’ sake. Peter writes ‘Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed’ I Peter 04:12, 13. Jesus wanted to quit from His Father’s will for He said ‘Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done’ Luke 22:42. It is difficult but Father strengthened Him by sending an angel ‘Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him’ Luke 22:43. For Jesus, an angel from heaven came and strengthened Him and went off, but for us, who accepted Christ, the Holy Spirit is within us to strengthen us, and He is remaining with us. So no worries!

Through Emptiness : -

Our Lord emptied Himself for our sake. He gave all His precious blood and nothing He held back for our sake. If we carry our baggage of will, self, ambitions, dreams, will power, confidence, ideas, plans etc. we cannot enter into the narrow gate, because all these things will hinder us while entering. So every Christian ought to empty himself and ought to submit himself to the will of the Father in heaven (whose plan will be always perfect beyond human minds and will be good for us).

Come on cheer-up guys! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us :-)

So "Don't just SEEK, but STRIVE" Strive, Strive and Strive to enter into a narrow gate

Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive Strive

CRITICISM Never be afraid of honest criticism. If it is correct, the critic has helped you. If it is incorrect, you can help the critic (in a gentle way). Either way, somebody is helped. When criticism is cruel, as was Michal's, look beyond the critic and leave the matter with God. Elbert Hubbard

THEY WANTED TO DIE Sometimes we feel so depressed about our work and ourselves that we wish God would call us home. Of course, had Elijah really wanted to die. But Elijah was not the only one to feel that way. Moses wanted to die, and so did Job , Jeremiah, and Jonah. Of course, this is not the

*GOD SEES THE HEART* God not only sees our hearts, but He searches them and knows our thoughts and motives. We think we know our own hearts, but we do not, _so we had better accept God's verdict_ . We should be careful not to judge others since we cannot know their hearts. Warren W. Wiersbe
